Mogadishu(SD)-The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, at Villa Somalia, has met the young man who was arrested for wearing a Somalia flag in Hargeisa.

According to a statement released by Villa Somalia, President Farmajo has given advise to the young man at the presidential palace.

“President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed ‘Farmajo’ awarded  ‘Abdirahman Mohamed Ali (Aar) the national symbol after a encouragement meeting at Villa Somalia , Aar, who became famous for his love and Honor of the Somalia flag.” read Villa Somalia press release.

Aar is a symbol of all the disenfranchised Somaliland youth who abandoned their Somaliland hope due to the political situation in the country.

scores of well educated youth have abandoned their national values and are resigned to the fact that Somaliland only works for some and not all.
