President Farmajo to attend the 74th Session of the UN General Assembly

Mogadishu(SD)-The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo is heading to the United States to attend the 74th United Nations General Assembly.

The President will deliver a keynote address at the World Leaders Summit, where the 74th UN session is dubbed “Reintegrating joint efforts to eradicate poverty, decentralize education and prevent climate change problems”.

Delegation of the Federal Republic of Somalia to attend this forum will hold side meetings to strengthen relations and cooperation with their international counterparts at the United Nations General Assembly.

The major agendas that the World Leaders will address in the 74th Circuit of the United Nations are primarily to strengthen youth and employment opportunities, resolve international conflicts, promote economic growth, protect human rights and unify efforts.

The Somalia president is finally able to attend the UN Assemply meeting because he recently denounced his US citizenship.
