Buhodle(SD)-A large delegation from the Puntland State of Somalia has been in Buhodle for the past few days.

The delegation led by Puntland’s Minister of Labor Jama Farah Muse has been there since Saturday, while Somaliland remains silent.

It’s reported that the Puntland delegation is in Buhodle with the intent of creating a local municipal government there.

The Puntland Government has announced their visit to Buhodle in advance, the Somaliland government did not voice their opposition to what could be seen as a provocation.

Buhodle already has a Local competing Municipal governments and it’s not yet clear what the reaction could be.

Puntland had recently created local governments in a contested Sanag regions.
