Garowe(SD)-The President of Puntland State of Somalia, HE Abdullahi Deni, has sent a congratulatory message to the President of Jubaland, Ahmed Mohamed Islan, who was elected in the port city of Jubaland.

“I call on the new president to act in reconciliatory manner  when it comes to the internal dispute resolution of Jubaland”. Said an statement released by president Deni.

Puntland also called on Jubaland and the federal government to resolve peacefully any differences in the election process.

Puntland totally ignored the other elected president of Jubaland Mr. Abdirashid Hidig, who was also inugorated the same day.
