Dhusamareb(SD)-The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia Hassan Ali Khayre witnessed the signing of a peace agreement reached between the communities living in Herale and Hurshe region in Galgadud.

Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khayre thanked all parties involved in the successful completion of the bloody conflict and the signing of a new lease on life, urging Hurshe and Herale communities to protect it and not return to conflict, consider them learned life lessons.

The agreement between Herale and Hurshe communities is said to be by the PM, as gold page in the history of the country, he called on the Galmudug community and the entire Somali people to demand courage to end the violence, end all conflicts, and take peace in order to succeed.

The elders of the two sides thanked Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khayre for his tireless efforts that eventually resulted in the signing of a peace treaty for the brothers and sisters of Hirale and Hurshe and the beginning of a new life for the brothers whose lives are disrupted by the conflict.

The Prime Minister pledged that the Somali government will play a key role in implementing the provisions of the joint peace treaty signed by Hurshe and Herale.
