Jigjiga(SD)-Reports from Jigjiga town say that the top officials in Jigjiga Tax department, Ahmed Mohamed and his deputy, Abdiwahid Abdullahi, have been arrested.

The arrests relate to charges of smuggling and corruption, according to the federal Attorney General.

Ahmed Mohamed is said by local traders to be a troublemaker for traders during the Taxing process.
