Bossaso(SD)-As the rape cases continue to increase in Puntland, security forces in Bossaso, Bari region, have arrested men who have raped women at different times in the city.

Bossaso Central Station Commander Colonel Yusuf Ahmed Isse said the security forces are also pursuing other individuals suspected of rape.

Three cases of sexual assault were brought before the court and convicted in years of imprisonment, while security forces arrested three others for Rape cases.

In Puntland, most of the rape cases are carried out individuals and the security agencies gets involved in the aftermath, including the ongoing case of Aisha Elias, whose rapped her and killed her have not yet been executed, as ordered by the courts.
