Hargeisa (SD) – Wadani and UCID chairmen turned down President Muse Bihi’s request for an official meeting.

President Bihi sent an official letter to the two opposition leaders requesting that they attend a meeting with the President on Today.

The president called the meeting to resolve the controversy over the Election Commission and Parliament’s extension, but opposition leaders Irro and Faisal rejected the request.

This comes as a large delegation from the donor nations are expected to arrive in Hargeisa.

The countries have already issued a strong statement on President Bihi’s opposition and opposition.

The Somaliland mediation committee is still keeping an eye on the parties and their issues, although it appears that President Bihi is reluctant to resolve the issues
