Mogadishu (SD) – The Ministry of Health of the Federal Government of Somalia on Sunday announced the large number of cases of coronavirus infections in various parts of the country.

A report released by the Ministry of Health confirmed that 2,704 people have been tested in the past five days, and 157 of them have been diagnosed.

The highest number of cases in recent days has been reported in Puntland, with 134 registered.

The ministry’s report also said that 20 people were found in the areas under the control of Somaliland. In Benadir, 2 cases were reported and in Galmudug areas, 1 person was registered, and all 157 diagnosed cases were 98 males and 59 females.
