Mogadishu(SD)- A general in the Somali Police Force is reported to have injured in a targeted car blast in Mogadishu today.
Reports indicate that the vehicle, a Surf driven by General Mohamed Abdulle Dhorere had a bomb attached to it, and he was injured in the blast.
Somali police officers arrived at the scene of the blast, and took away the officer and a soldier who was said to be guarding the wounded officer.
Police are also conducting investigations into the blast that targeted the police officer’s car, and there are no updates from the police yet.
Attaching bombs to targeted vehicles kill the most in Mogadishu, and lately it seems to be the prevered Al Shabab method of killing government officials.
