MANDERA (SD) -Al Shabaab has claimed that the group’s fighters have carried out attacks in Kenya, especially in areas under the city of Mandera in the North East region of Kenya.
The fighters are said to have attacked a Kenyan police station in Eel-Qallow area under Mandera on the Somali border.
The Al Shabaab media reported that Kenyan Police officer was injured in the attack, but didn’t confirm casualties on their side.
Al Shabaab fighters also attacked a convoy of Kenyan troops passing through the areas of Finow and Sheikh Barrow under Mandera district.
Details in this attack are unknown, and the Kenyan government is yet to address these two attacks that took place in the past few hours in areas under the city of Mandera in the North East region.
These attacks follow an attacks by Al Shabaab in the last few days in Ethiopia which has caused many casualties.
