MOGADISHU (SD) – Al-Shabaab militants today claimed responsibility for attacks including bombings in 12 districts in Somalia’s Capital region.
According to media outlets linked to the group, Al-Shabaab killed five people in the attacks.
The locations of these attacks include Police stations in the largest districts in the capital city.
Al-Shabaab attacks occurred successive night in Mogadishu and caused a lot of fears not felt in the capital for years.
This was the first time in years that Al-Shabaab took control a police station in the capital and drove of with police vehicles.
