MOGADISHU (SD) – Al-Shabaab militants in Somalia have unveiled military vehicles seized during a coordinated attack on FGS bases in Mogadishu’s Kahda and Yaqshid districts last two nights.

At least four people, two of them civilians, were reportedly killed in the attacks, while more than two dozen others, both Police and civilians, were reportedly injured in the attacks.

The Kahda police station and surrounding homes were also badly damaged after a car bomb was detonated.

Al-Shabaab’s governor for Banadir region claimed yesterday that the attacks in Kahda and Yaqshid were part of a series of attacks targeting government forces.
