Mogadishu(SD)-Reports from the Middle Shabelle region indicate that two explosions targeted Burundian troops in the AMISOM mission.

The blasts occurred at around noon in Buurane, in the Middle Shabelle region, according to local residents.

According to reports, the first explosion resulted in limited casualties while other troops responding to the first blasts suffered a in the second blast.

Residents said at least three soldiers were injured in the second blast, but AMISOM spokesman said they had only wounded two soldiers.

Meanwhile, local residents said an bullets fired by AMISOM troops killed a civilian.
