GAROWE (SD) – A conference on the fight against AL-Shabab and ISIS terrorists took place in Garowe capital of Puntland today, which was chaired by Nugal Regional Police Commander General Hussein Ali Mohamud.

Police officers from Nugal region have attended the conference, the meeting was focused on keeping the forces vigilant and prevent the harm caused by terrorist groups to the community.

“they are young men that have been misled, they are weak and do not have much power, they are hiding in the community , so if they see the forces vigilant they will not have the courage to do anything” said the Commander.

The conference has also discussed the fight against alcohol and cannabis. Nugal Regional Police Commander gave his gratitude to the forces for their efforts in countering terrorism and narcotics.
