Beledweyne (SD) – Reports from the town of Beledweyne in Hiran region confirm that a heavy explosion has occurred at a police station in the town.

According to the reports, the blast was a landmine planted inside a police station in Beledweyne.

Reports indicate that the mayor of Feer Feer district was killed and the commander of Beledweyne police station Mohamed Qorsheel was wounded in the blast.

Security forces sealed off the area and launched an investigation to determine how easy it was to plant landmines in a Police.
