MOGADISHU (SD) -The global watchdog organization for corruption, Transparency International, has released its annual report on the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI).
The report ranks 180 countries, assigning each a score out of 100. According to analysts, global corruption levels have not seen significant changes.
Somalia is positioned as the country with the highest corruption levels, receiving only 11 points out of 100. Denmark is identified as the least corrupt country, scoring 90 points and maintaining its top position from the previous year.
Based on the metrics used by Transparency International, Somalis are likely to remain at or near the bottom of its CPI indefinitely.
