HARFO (SD) At least two people have died and several others were injured in a clan conflict that erupted in Harfo district in the Mudug region. This tension, rooted in a land dispute and wells, has severely affected the area, with an important town well being burned yesterday, according to witnesses.

The casualties from the conflict have increased, with both sides experiencing deaths and injuries, and the situation remains unpredictable. So far, no one has intervened directly between the two sides, raising fears that the conflict could intensify.

Community elders from both sides and the Puntland administration have yet to make any statements regarding the conflict, indicating that the situation is not likely to be resolved quickly.

Such conflicts often recur in rural areas where grazing lands overlap, making the resolution of these tensions extremely difficult.
