Garowe (SD) – The President of Puntland and Chairman of KAAH, Mr. Said Abdullahi Deni, today launched the Puntland Political Associations Campaign which will begin this week in Qardho, Ufeyn and Eyl districts with one person, one vote elections.

The President said the government had completed the implementation of the Puntland democracy process, so the public can elect their leaders. He thanked political associations and Puntland citizens.

Puntland political associations will begin their campaign in the municipalities of Qardho, Ufeyn and Eyl this week, and will hold a one person one vote on October 25, 2021.

This is the first time that the Puntland administration will hold one person one vote.
