Djibouti (SD) – The President of the Republic of Djibouti Ismail Omar Guelleh attended the Opening Ceremony of the 5th Session of the Heritage Institute Forum, which opened today in Djibouti.
In his speech, the president welcomed the large numbers of participants from neighboring countries and around the world.
“Djibouti is honored to continue to host scholarly and research conferences by the Heritage Institute.” Said President Guelleh.
He added that “we have always supported the work and mission of this institute because we believe it works for the development, peace and stability of the people of the region.”
The three day Forum, attended by officials from Somali regions in the Horn will focus on the volatile situation in the Horn of Africa.
