Mogadishu (SD) – Dr. Mohamed Mohamoud Ali Fuje said Coronavirus is affecting doctors at hospitals in Mogadishu, expressing concern over how fast the disease is spreading in the country.
Dr. Fuje said most of the doctors working at the Hospitals have been infected and in the best case scenario major hospitals have about 50 health workers infected with the virus.
The doctor has advised the elderly to stay home and young people to stay away from their parents as it is possible for them to infect the vulnerable.
The number of people who have died so far in the country is said to be mostly people over 50 years of age.
The Doctor also reiterated that everyone should wear a mask, and recommend that tailors start making masks, which could help stop the spread of COVID-19.
The doctor once again advised people to stay away from each other at least one meter and wash their hands regularly, in order to curb the spread of the virus in the country.
