Addis Ababa (SD) -The Ethiopian government has revealed four new cases of coronavirus in the country, after testing 766 people in the past 24 hours.
All confirmed cases are Ethiopian nationals, signaling community spread, according to the Ministry of Health.
Three of the confirmed were from Puntland, Somalia and were in a quarantine facility at Jigjiga University, in the capital of the Somali Ethiopian Regional State.
According to the ministry, eight more people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total recovery to 58.
The total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Ethiopia has now reached 126 people. The mortality remains at 3, with the total number of people tested for the virus is at 16, 434.
