OSLO (SD)-The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, attended a meeting organized by the Somali community in Norway.

Speaking at the welcoming event, the President shared the successes achieved in stabilizing the country, state-building, and developing vital infrastructure.

President Hassan Sheikh noted that the Norwegian government has supported Somalia during critical times and highlighted its significant contribution to debt relief efforts.

The President urged the Somali community in Norway to double their efforts in supporting the government, encouraging them to participate in the recovery and rebuilding of their homeland.

President Hassan Sheikh also mentioned that the fight against extremists is progressing well, expressing gratitude to the public for standing against the disruptors of peace. He assured that the terrorist groups would be eliminated as swiftly as possible.
