Farmajo and Roble reportedly close in reaching an agreement

Mogadishu (SD) – Talks between President Farmajo and Prime Minister Roble have entered a second phase this afternoon, with reports that some progress have been made.

Meeting organized and mediated by Galmudug and Southwest State presidents, Minister of Education, Deputy Minister of Information and Other prominent Members in both camps.

There has been a private meeting between just President Farmajo and Prime Minister Roble, a first of its kind since the two had a falling out over the sacking of the country’s Spy Chief Fahad Yasin.

Sources close to Villa Somalia say Roble and Farmajo agreed to have the appropriate agencies to investigate Ikraan Tahlil’s murder case.

The two leading Federal officials discussed what to do about the two opposing officials they have appointed recently.

Reports say that President Farmajo asked to have the private meeting with Prime Minister Roble to discuss Implementing the agreed upon points.

The latest reports from Villa Somalia say that the meeting ended in an agreement and a statement is currently being prepared.

The agreement between the two officials will end the political uncertainty in the country.
