Mogadishu (SD) – The federal care taker government of Somalia and the country’s regional administrations have today reached an agreement on a method of sharing the country’s revenue, a point they strongly disagreed on.
The federal government and regional administrations including Benadir region agreed to create a technical committee to ensure the implementation of the new agreement.
The monthly meeting also focused on how to share the World Bank’s budget supplement revenue, due to the financial decline caused by Coronavirus pandemic.
A number of other issues including the country’s financial system and taxation, were discussed during the conference.
