GURIEL (SD) – At least five among them two civilians have been killed and several other sustained injuries after rival government forces clashed in central Somalia.

Multiple sources said heavy fighting sparked between Guriel district forces and Goror forces in Guriel town of Galgaduud region.

Three government soldiers and two civilians were killed in the fighting which lasted for more two hours.

It is not yet clear what triggered the brawl between government forces.
