HARGEISA (SD) – Former Somaliland Minister of Information Osman Abdillahi Sahardid (Addani) has announced his resignation from the Kulmiye party.

Addani, who spoke to MMTV, said all Kulmiye supporters are surprised by the way President Bihi is leading the country.

Minister Addani said the President has returned the country to division through tribalism.

Minister Addani also criticized President Bihi for his handling of the controversial 14th election law

He called for not to re-elect President Muse Bihi Abdi.

Politician Addani, formerly Somaliland’s information minister, was one of the main proponents of President Muse Bihi in the 2017 presidential election.

The former Somaliland minister’s statement comes at a time when Somaliland’s political parties are divided over the upcoming presidential election.
