DJIBOUTI (SD) -The President of Djibouti, Ismail Omar Guelleh, held a meeting with the Commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of Sudan, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo.
They discussed ways to achieve peace in Sudan, which is currently facing a conflict that has resulted in significant loss of life.
Commander Hamdan stated that he is ready to engage in negotiations without preconditions, intending to find a peaceful resolution to the military leadership crisis in Sudan.
The talks are intended to bring about a ceasefire and reach an understanding to end the ongoing conflict in Sudan.
Sudanese military commander Abdel Fattah al-Burhan was supposed to meet Hamdan last Thursday in Djibouti, but the meeting was postponed after he was unable to reach Djibouti
