Hargeisa (SD) – The University of Hargeisa, in Somaliland, says for the first time more girls are enrolled at the University of Hargeisa this year than boys.
The administration of the University of Hargeisa confirmed that of the 1,980 students who sat for the university exams, 1,035 were girls and 945 were men.
Abdirashid Gahnug, head of examinations at the University of Hargeisa, said that the students who have registered for the university will take the exam for the 11 colleges at the university.
