Hargeisa(SD)-Security forces in Hargeisa have today shut down tan independent TV station in Hargeisa, removing all of its staff.

Television officials have confirmed to local media that the security forces have shut down the station, adding that an arrest warrant is issued for the chairman of the television, Mohamed Osman Mire (Sayid).

The cable television channel 24tv comes at a time when a broader complaint is being made about a program recently previewed.

Hor24Tv Television is the second media outlet in a week that the Somaliland government imposed restrictions on,  there is a growing outcry of independent media outlets regarding recent media targeting.
