Hargeisa (SD) – Security personnel at the Hargeisa airport in Somaliland are raising serious concerns about the threat of Coronavirus.
The employees concern rose as the virus spread to neighboring countries and the Somaliland government allowed flights in from high risk countries.
One of the crew, who declined to be named, said they feel overwhelmed, as airline passengers check their hands on their destinations without checking their health, which could endanger their health.
Somaliland is not financial equipped to address these and other fears of the pandemic, so far the unrecognised state have not had a confirmed case.
