KISMAYO (SD) – The vice presidents of the states of Jubbaland and Galmudug opposed the new government announced by Prime Minister Hamse a day ago, saying that the process of power sharing between the Darood clans has been violated.

The two vice presidents of the Jubbaland and Galmudug administrations, Mohamud Sayid Adan and Ali Dahir Eid, held a consultation meeting via ZOOM, then issued a joint statement announcing an urgent meeting of the community to take action against the new Somalia government.

“I had a Zoom meeting today with the Vice President of the Galmudug Government, Ali Dahir Eid, in which we analyzed the general situation of the country and especially the issues of the community of Sade Marehan in the areas of Jubaland, Galmudug, Ethiopia. and Banadir Region.” said the vice president of Jubbaland.

Adding “We decided together and called for an urgent conference to discuss the challenges and how the community would react to the disdain for the establishment of the cabinet of the central government,”

They announced an urgent meeting of the members of the two houses of the community, the ministers in the Galmudug and Jubaland administrations, intellectuals and other officials, and the place and time of the meeting will be announced soon.

This statement from the two vice presidents of the Jubbaland and Galmudug administrations comes at a time when the list of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Somali Government was announced a day ago with strong criticisms directed at the new government which has not yet been confirmed by the Somali Parliament.
