Kenya Airstrike hits Jubaland Pastorals

Dhobley (SD) – Reports from Dhobley district in Lower Juba region confirmed that there was an airstrike that caused casualties to civilians.

According to local media, Kenyan warplanes hit pastoralists in the rural areas of Dhobley district.

One civilian was confirmed dead due to the airstrike that took place last night in Dhobley district.

Jubbaland Officials have not yet released any statement regarding the airstrike attack which has already affected civilians in the area.

The Kenyan government, which is part of the African Union Mission forces in Somalia (AMISOM), is battling al-Shabab militants in both Kenya and Somalia.
