WASHINGTON (SD) – United States Bureau of African Affairs in a released statement says Somaliland is part of one US policy towards Somalia.

The US Bureau of African Affairs statement came as Somaliland President Muse Bihi Abdi is visiting Washington, at the invitation of the Heritage Foundation.

Muse Bihi today delivered a speech at the Heritage Foundation, detailing the need for further cooperation with the US and made the case for Somaliland recognition.
