Mogadishu (SD) – The Ministry of Defense has released press statement OF alleged rape cases of two girls in the newly liberated town of Janale district, Lower Shabelle region.

According to the statement, the incidents involving the government soldiers is investigated by the military court.

Whoever is alleged to have had raped the two females in Janale, if confirmed; the assailant will face In accordance with the law. Said in a statement.

On 4th April 2020, Two girls were sexually assaulted at the age of 4 and 6 have been brought Madina hospital after being abducted from their homes and brutally raped in Afgoye district, Lower Shabelle Region.

On 25th February 2019, Aisha Eliyas was raped and found dead in a northern suburb of Galkayo, where her body appeared to be severely tortured who went missing for hours and later found dumped.

On 11th February 2020, two men convicted of gang-raping and murder of 12 years old Aisha Aden have been executed in Bossaso Bari region.
