Mogadishu March 22, 2023 (SD)-The Federal Government’s Disaster Management Agency in Somalia has reported that 17 people injured in the ongoing fighting in the city of Las Anod, in the Sool region, have been transported to Mogadishu for treatment.
The individuals were flown from the Garowe airport in the Nugal region, and upon arrival in Mogadishu, they were immediately taken to various hospitals.
The Director of the National Emergency Response Committee for the Disaster Management Agency, Hassan Isse, speaking to the media, stated that those injured are in critical condition and that medical care will be provided to them in Mogadishu.
This comes as the Disaster Management Agency continues to respond to the ongoing conflict in Las Anod city between the Somaliland military and SSC forces.
