Mogadishu (SD) – The Mudulod Clan Consultative Conference which has been going on for the last few days concluded today in Mogadishu.

The conference was attended by traditional elders, politicians, religious and secular scholars, women, civil society and many other dignitaries.

The conference focused on issues such as the current election crisis in the country, where the country’s top politicians including the federal government are divided over the issue.

The conference concluded today with a communique, warning against foreign troops entering the country at this time.

The conference has also taken a hard line on extending the term of office of the president, as Villa Somalia is suspected of plans to extend the term of President Farmajo.
