Borama (SD) – Officials from Somaliland’s ruling Kulmiye party and the other two opposition parties Wadani and UCID, today attended the start of the voter registration activities in Borama, Awdal region.
Kulmiye Party Officials led by the Fourth Vice Chairman of Kulmiye party, and the Minister of Trade, Industry and Tourism Mr. Mohamud Hassan Sa’ad (Sajin) accompanied by the General Secretary of the party Mr. Ibrahim Ahmed Rabi, party spokesman Md. Abdinasir Muhumed Hassan (Buni) were seen encouraging the community to register.
The leaders of the two opposition parties UCID and Wadani also participated in the start of voter registration activities in Borama, the capital of Awdal region.
The three national party officials inspected the registration centers in Borama district, assessing the progress of the registration process.
Party officials addressed the public, urging them to register and take advantage of the limited days scheduled for the registration in the State.
Borama is one of seven districts in the country that the voter registration committees are conducting registration for the next few days.
