Mogadishu (SD) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Ali Kheyre, has appointed a Cabinet committee to respond to the flood victims in Qardho.

The Minister of Information, Mohamed Abdi Hayir last night told the media that members of the commission will soon recommend and take appropriate actions to help the families.

Members of the committee includes Abdi Mohamed Sabriye, Mohamed Burci Hamas, Mohamed Abdi Hayir, Jamal Mohamed Hassan, Fowsiya Mohamed Sheikh, Abdi Anshur Hassan, Mohamud Heir Ibrahim, Mohamed Said Abdullahi.

The Prime Minister has ordered the committee to respond to the flood victims immediately in Puntland’s Qardho District.

The president of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has directed the government agencies on Tuesday to respond to the disaster and the families affected by Qardo floods.
