PM Roble meets with army commanders

Mogadishu (SD) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble today met with the commanders of the armed forces and security agencies in Banadir region.

Prime Minister Roble is said to have shared with the military commanders plans to step up security, complete military reform and fight terrorism.

Prime Minister Roble presented to his military commanders his plan to stabilize the country’s security and strengthen co-operation between security agencies at the Federal and State levels.

“I urge you to redouble your good efforts and come up with more efforts to fully implement the security plan during the elections.” said Prime Minister Roble.

Meanwhile, the National Security Council said it would intensify its efforts to secure the country.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Mahdi Guled and other members of the care taker Cabinet.
