Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble, accompanied by the Minister of Defense, the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Haji, today met with senior AMISOM Force Commanders in Kismayo, the second division of the Jubbaland state of Somalia.

The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble spoke to Kenyan officials about election security and co-operation with the Somali National Army.

Prime Minister Roble was also briefed Jubbaland officials on the ongoing operations against Al Shabaab in Jubbaland, Lower Jubba, Middle Jubba and Gedo regions.

Roble, who visited the 43rd Division of the Somali National Army yesterday, praised the country’s defense and operations against Al-Shabaab.

“I visited the 43rd Division Command today. Heroes of the armed forces are dealing with such sacrifices and are committed to the defense of the country and the people. We are committed to responding to the needs of our troops with all the equipment, training and support they need. ” said Roble.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by the President of the Jubaland State of Somalia, HE Ahmed Mohamed Islam, Ministers, Members of Parliament and Federal and State Government officials.
