Berbera (SD) – Somaliland President Muse Bihi Abdi accompanied by a large delegation arrived in Berbera, the capital of Sahil region yesterday, according to a statement from the presidential office.

The delegation and President Bihi were welcomed by the Sahil regional administration and Berbera district administration, politicians and other officials.

President Bihi, arrived in Berbera today, and is scheduled to unveil a new extension of Berbera Port today.

The statement said President Bihi and his delegation are on a working trip to the city.

“The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Muse Bihi Abdi with a large delegation left Hargeisa and reached the Sahil regional capital of Berbera. ” according to a statement from the presidential press office.

“The president and his delegation are on a working visit and were warmly welcomed by Sahil and Berbera district officials, politicians and other dignitaries,” the statement said.

President Muse Bihi is accompanied by members of his cabinet, military officials and other members of his government.

A delegation led by the Somali Regional State of Ethiopia’s President Mustafe Muhumed Omar is also in Somaliland for the unveiling ceremony.
