GAROWE (SD)-The President of the Puntland State of Somalia, Said Abdullahi Deni, received the European Union’s Special Representative to Somalia, Mrs. Karin Johannson, at the Presidential Palace in Garowe during her first official visit to Puntland.

The meeting focused on the overall situation in Somalia, particularly the progress being made in Puntland in areas such as security, democratization, development projects, and infrastructure development. They also discussed strengthening the collaborative relationship between the European Union and Puntland.

Accompanying President Deni in the meeting were the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Daud Mohamed Omar (Daud Bisinle), the State Minister at the Presidency, Abdifatah Mohamed Abdinur, and the Director General of the Presidency, Mohamed Jama Abdirahman.
