Dhusamareb (SD) – Galmudug President Ahmed Abdi Kariye Qor-qor has released a list of his new cabinet Ministers of 23 members, including prominent politicians.

MP Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, a member of the Somali federal parliament, was appointed Galmudug security minister. MP Sabir Nur Shuriye,also a federal MP, was appointed Minister of Ports and Fisheries of Galmudug.

Also in the appointed cabinet list was Ahmed Shire Falagle, one of Qor-qor’s challengers for the Galmudug presidency, was appointed Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of Galmudug.

Farhan Ali Gaban is the new Galmudug Minister of Finance, he was the former Minister of Information under the TFG Government led by Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed.

The Somali Federal Government and Galmudug opposition didn’t comment of the new Galmudug cabinet formed in Dhusamareb today.
