Mogadishu (SD) – Somali presidential candidate Dahir Mohamud Guelleh recently talked about his plans for the political situation in Somalia, particularly the talks between Somalia and the Somaliland administration.

Dahir Mohamud Guelleh, said that if he wins the office of the president of Somalia he will work to bring about dialogue between Somalia and the entire Somaliland regions.

“We will enter into talks with whole of Somaliland including Sool and Sanaag. We will not create or open talks with a divided Somaliland.” said Somalia’s 2021 presidential candidate, Dahir Mohamud Guelleh.

This statement from the presidential candidate has already caused a lot of controversy in Social media.

The people of Sool and Sanaag are divided over Guelleh’s statement, as they are divided politically.

Authorities in the disputed Sool and Sanaag regions of Puntland and Somaliland have so far not responded to Dahir Mohamud Guelleh’s statement.
