GAROWE (SD) – Puntland State of Somalia wrote to the international community representatives in Somalia, about how it is committed to the region’s democratic process.

The statement from Puntland Presidential Palace said the government is committed to increase its efforts to hold a one person and vote elections and the implementation of multiparty system.

The former chairman of the Puntland Electoral Commission Guled Salah Barre accused the government of the Said Deni of not been committed, leading to his resignation.
