Garowe December 27, 2022 (SD) – Puntland Interior Minister Abdi Farah Juha accused former Puntland Finance Minister Hassan Shire Abgal of opposing the voter registration process in Puntland.

Forces loyal to the former minister prevented members of the government from entering areas in Nugal to inform people of the voter registration process, according to the interior Minister.

Abgal was removed from the Ministry of Finance of Puntland months ago following an election dispute with President Said Abdullahi Deni.

Puntland’s Interior Minister said that the government will take appropriate actions and that the ongoing voter registration process will not be stopped.
