Bossaso (SD) – Puntland’s Bari Regional Security Committee has today held a meeting in Bossaso to discuss the security situation in that city, which has been in a state of crisis in recent days following the dismissal of the PSF Director.
The meeting was chaired by Bari Regional Police Commander Colonel Abdulkadir Jama Dirir was attended by security officials from Bari region, proposing security options for the city.
The governor of Bari region Abdisamad Abwan said that in the last few days there has been a made up tension in Bossaso, and the people who love the destruction of Puntland have exaggerated it and now it is peaceful.
The governor said as per today’s security meeting, the security forces will carry out operations in all neighborhoods of Bossaso, no other armed forces are allowed in the city, and that the security committee is keeping a close eye on those accustomed threaten the security of the society.
The orders of the Bari security committee come at a time when PSF in Bossaso are rejecting the removal of their commander by President Deni.
