BOSSASO (SD) -Last night, a clash occurred once again in the city of Bossaso in the Bari region, resulting in casualties and significant damage to civilian vehicles.

Reports indicate that the conflict was between forces from the Puntland Security Force (PSF) and the Puntland Maritime Police Force (PMPF) and took place near the Huruse Hotel, close to areas known for selling beverages, according to eyewitnesses.

One soldier from the PSF was killed in the gunfight that broke out today, between the PSF and the PMPF in Bossaso.

The cause of the incident remains unknown, and there has been no official statement from the command of either force.

The PSF and PMPF are both units within Puntland forces, yet it appears that the tension between them is escalating, with this being their second clash in the past 24 hours, resulting in the death of a PSF soldier.
