BOSSASO (SD)-The Puntland State security forces recently conducted planned security operations to confirm safety measures in the city of Bossaso, the capital of Puntland’s commerce.

The security forces carried out extensive operations in various neighborhoods of the city, apprehending individuals suspected of affiliations with Daesh (ISIS).

Officials overseeing the security operations stated that the objective was to track down suspected individuals who are believed to have ties with Daesh and pose a threat to the local business community.

The security forces successfully apprehended three individuals suspected of involvement in activities posing a threat to the security of the city, and investigations are ongoing.
